There was a problem filtering reviews right now.Sound is good. Volume goes loud enough for me. Bass also thumps hard enough for me. Everything worked fine up until a few days ago I've had the system for about 4 months Now the sub woofer cuts out about every 5 seconds and it drives me crazy.

I've tried to reposition subwoofer and re sync. Still cuts out. Not happy with this product anymore. Sounds passable, but the subwoofer and surround sound kept cutting out. On top of that, the rear speakers, while not as useless as other reviews make them out to be, just aren't loud enough. It doesn't help that there are NO options for controlling bass, balance, and volume for both the lackluster subwoofer and rear speakers.

You can even find a slightly higher end model of the Vizio for less than the Blackweb, if you're willing to buy refurbished I prefer new when the price is right. Had a nice little LG sound at with wireless sub and sounded great. Moved that bar to my bedroom and wanted to get something new for the frontroom. Well my wires for my game systems and audio equipment is all black web and have good quality so I decided to try this sound bar out.

Gotta be good quality too right? Absolutely wrong. I unpacked it and of corse had to go back and buy a optic cable because every other sound bar has one included but this one so I bought a black web optic cable as my other one is and I like the quality of it. Got the sound bar hooked up and mounted to the wall and oh my lord the quality of the sound is just garbage.

My sub has to be directly under the sound bar or it doesn't wirelessly connect and the surround speakers are just paperweight. I figured I'd give it a couple weeks and see if I'm able to tune my settings on the tv and sound bar in to get a decent quality sound.

And stupid me can't find my receipt and I stupidly threw the box away to even try to return it for a instore credit or something.

How to: Hook Up Your Soundbar With An Optical Cable

This sound bar with wireless sub and surround speakers doesn't even deserve the one star you must atleast give to rate it. The base is weak and sound is horrible.Menu Menu. Soundbars save space, reduce speaker and wire clutter, and are less hassle to set up than a full-on home theater audio system. However, soundbars aren't just for TV viewing.

Warranty & Support

If you are considering a soundbarthe following tips will guide you through installation, setup, and use. Soundbars can be used with televisions from a variety of manufacturers including, but not limited to, those made by LG, Samsung, Panasonic, Sony, and Vizio. If your TV is on a stand, table, shelf, or cabinet, a soundbar can be placed just below the TV.

This is ideal since the sound will come from where you're already looking. You'll need to measure the height of the soundbar versus the vertical space between the stand and the bottom of the TV to make sure the soundbar doesn't block the screen.

If putting a soundbar on a shelf inside a cabinet, place it as forward as possible so that sound directed to the sides is not obstructed. If the soundbar features Dolby AtmosDTS:Xor DTS Virtual:Xaudio capability, placing within a cabinet shelf is not desirable as the soundbar needs to project sound vertically for overhead surround sound effects.

Most soundbars can be wall-mounted. A soundbar can be placed under or above a wall-mounted TV. It is best to mount it under the TV as the sound is better directed to the listener. If the soundbar does not come with wall mounting hardware or a template, check the user guide for more on what you need, and if the manufacturer offers the items as optional purchases.

Unlike the photo examples above it's best to not obstruct the front or sides of the soundbar with decorative items. Once the soundbar is placed, you need to connect your TV and other components. In the case of wall mounting, make the connections before permanently mounting the soundbar.

Shown above are connections you may find on a basic soundbar. The position and labeling may vary. From left to right are Digital Optical, Digital Coaxialand Analog Stereo connections, with their corresponding cable types. The digital optical connection is best for sending audio from the TV to the soundbar.

If you find that the TV does not have this connection, you can use the analog stereo connections if the TV provides that option. If the TV has both, it is your choice.

You may also have the choice of choosing digital optical or analog this may be detected automatically depending on which is connected. Ordinarily, you only need to make the external speaker setting once. If you decide not to use the soundbar for watching certain content, you need to turn the TV's internal speakers back on, then back off when using the soundbar again.

The digital coaxial connection can be used for a Blu-ray DiscDVD playeror another audio source that has this option available. If your source devices do not have this option, they will most likely have a digital optical or analog option. One other connection that you may find on a basic soundbar, that is not shown in the photo, is a 3.

However, you can still connect standard audio sources via an RCA-to-mini-jack adapter that you can purchase. In addition to the digital optical, digital coaxial, and analog stereo audio connections, a higher-end soundbar may provide the following options. HDMI reduces clutter between the soundbar and the TV as you do not have to connect separate cables to the TV for video and the soundbar for audio from external source devices.

This means that you don't have to connect a separate audio cable from the TV to the soundbar. Consult your TV and soundbar user guides if needed, as accessing the setup menus for this feature may vary from brand-to-brand.

Many soundbars include a subwoofer output. If your soundbar has one, you can physically connect an external subwoofer to the soundbar to produce the added bass for a movie listening experience.

Although many soundbars come with a subwoofer, there are some that don't but may still provide you with the option of adding one later. Also, many soundbars, even if they provide a physical subwoofer output connection, come with a wireless subwoofer, which reduces cable clutter further more on subwoofer installation in the next section.

Another connection included on some soundbars is an Ethernet Network port. This supports connection to a home network that may allow access to internet music streaming services, and, in some cases, integration of the soundbar into a multi-room music system more on this later.Delivery of this product may be restricted to your state.

See details in Checkout. Awesome, bought one for my girlfriend and ended up wanting one of my own. The microphone pics up so well that when we use the Google Assistant on our phones in the bedroom, this soundbar which is in the living room often answers the question too.

It was a breeze to set it up, although I did have a little "glitch" hooking it back up after my girlfriend changed the Wi-Fi password, but that could also be my phone's issue. It has decent sound for the price range, its loud enough that you probably wouldn't feel comfortable playing it at full-blast at 3 AM if you lived in an apartment building out of respect for your neighbors, but you're not going to be throwing any parties with it, as it just doesnt have the bass or oomph watts or power to take center stage in any environment where there is competing noise to deal with.

I needed an optical cable to attach it to my smart TV, and, frankly, I'm probably never going to connect it to my TV, there isn't much difference from the ones in her 65" 4K UHD. A cheaper or smaller TV might benefit. I wrote this review upon seeing some of the complaints in the reviews and in my experience with it, its won me over I guess enough to stick up for it. I think I like it more for the Google Assistant than for the soundbar capability, and I didn't even consider that when we bought it for the old TV she had then.

We've been using it for about 3 months, so I have a pretty good picture by now, I got the chance to put it through its paces before writing this review, unlike most the people who complained about setting it up initially, if that helps. I'd recommend buying it, you could always return it to Wally-World if you didn't share my enthusiasm afterward. I doubt most people will though. The bar by itself works kinda funny BUT when I connected the Chrome cast and put the Google home app on my phone the sound bar changed dramatically!

It will give u the theater experience. Way better than expected. The Google home app let's u adjust as u prefer, and so many more options if u have a Google account! Works great, sound clarity is good not great connected quick used the group pairing to have all my surrond speakers in sync. Good was hard to figure out how to get the sound to work on the tv but. Love the google assist. The best sound for the price! BUT the Blackweb Inch 2. Very Frustrating! Sitting at home trying to watch a movie, sound cuts out for a second and comes back on.

Sound no sound sound again There is no way to tell how it operates when she plug it up I tried buying 3 different types of plugs that it recommended it did not work I then worked several different ways with the remote and could not get it to even turn the power on returning it to the store. Do not buy this sound bar, bought for my daughter at college. It never worked. By the time she came home box was lost.

Even though I had receipt Walmart refused to return or give store credit. Its junk wasted money. Would give a minus star if possible.

I don't usually leave reviews but after the frustration of using this device I feel I should. The rating I'm giving it reflects it's inability to connect to the Google Home app or via Bluetooth to my phone, reset multiple times and following the steps in the manual that came with it.

Thankfully I had an Alexa input that works perfectly and as it should so all connectivity aside from the aux in on this soundbar are redundant. Sound quality is good enough and the remote is handy.

Not a good advertisement for Google Home that is for sure.
